UAVs with swarm intelligence are systems that can act autonomously, learn, decide, and fulfill the mission given as a swarm within the scope of asymmetric warfare or anti-terrorism. These systems have advanced functions such as real-time object detection, identification and tracking with deep learning based computer vision techniques.
In the STM Swarm System, missions are executed in the most effective way by leveraging swarm intelligence, which emerges from the collective assessment of the individual behaviours of UAVs. The UAVs forming the swarm can autonomously perform synchronized takeoff, landing, and diving operations. They are capable of autonomously deploying to mission areas. During transit, they can adopt either static or dynamic formations and navigate while maintaining the desired formation. Equipped with a distributed communication infrastructure, the swarm system enables UAVs to communicate with one another, prioritize targets, share target information, and conduct coordinated swarm attacks.
In the Swarm Intelligence UAV Project that we continue to develop, we carry out R&D and productisation activities such as autonomous systems within our company, rotary and fixed-wing platforms, studies on swarm intelligence, testing and adapting existing products and technologies, and developing new algorithms.
